Respiratory Delivery Systems, Inc., RDS, is a privately owned company incorporated on July 2, 1990 by Walter J. MakieJ Jr., M.B.A., President, CEO and Founder.

Located in Chelmsford Massachusetts, RDS implements grassroots marketing techniques to develop superior aerosol spacer and chamber devices, that are affordable, portable, convenient to use, easy to clean, user friendly and effective.

Walter has been active in the pharmaceutical and medical device business for 40 years in various capacities including sales, marketing, management and corporate ownership. Walter has several US Patents, trademarks and continues to procure additional intellectual property.

Respiratory Delivery Systems Inc., has two flagship products MicroSpacer® and MicroChamber®. They are 510K FDA approved medical devices for use with metered-dose inhaler products.

These two medical devices have a unique screen grid valve delivery system that blocks large aerosol particles from an MDI, but allows the smaller treatment aerosol particles to pass thru.,the screen grid valve system with increased velocity and momentum for a faster and deeper aerosol delivery to the lower lungs.

This unique delivery system increases inspiratory flow rate for the patient and represents a technological breakthrough regarding proper airway deposition of asthma medication into the lungs for better outcomes.
